These high-quality vacuum desiccators are designed to provide reliable dry storage or experiments over extended periods by maintaining a 29 in.-Hg vacuum for over 72 hours at room temperature, ensuring lower maintenance and increased peace of mind. The single-piece molded design, except for the door, allows for exceptional durability and outstanding vacuum capability with virtually no leakage. The cabinet style maximizes usable space and allows for stacking. Equipped with a Viton® 3-way valve, these desiccators offer consistent and uniform vacuum draw, vacuum release, or gas exchange. An analog vacuum gauge on the front door provides a quick visual check of the vacuum level. The transparent polycarbonate construction is durable, easy to clean, chemical resistant, and allows for quick visualization of contents, while amber tinted UV blocking models effectively block 100% of UVA, B, and C light to protect light-sensitive samples from damage or discoloration. The hinged door allows easy access, and built-in locking tabs secure the door when not under vacuum. Removable or repositionable perforated shelves accommodate various storage needs, with additional shelves available for purchase. Built-in ports allow for the attachment of up to three additional valves (sold separately), and the kit includes a desiccant tray (desiccants sold separately). These desiccators can be used with any vacuum capable of a free air capacity of 1.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or greater, and they are offered in eight models, including options of 11, 23, 35, and 45 liters in either clear or UV blocking amber.
