These high-quality vacuum desiccators are designed to maintain reliable dry storage or conduct experiments over extended periods while ensuring gastight integrity. They can sustain a vacuum of 29 in.-Hg for over 72 hours at room temperature, providing enhanced vacuum stability with minimal maintenance. The VITON® 3-way valve allows for consistent and uniform vacuum draw, vacuum release, or gas exchange, while a built-in analog vacuum gauge simplifies vacuum level monitoring. The unit features a high-quality silicone O-ring and a specially designed locking ring that ensure exceptional vacuum capability with virtually no leakage. Amber-tinted UV blocking models effectively block 100% of UVA, B, and C light to prevent damage or discoloration of light-sensitive samples. Constructed from transparent polycarbonate, these desiccators are durable, chemical-resistant, and facilitate quick visualization of contents. The locking ring secures the top and bottom halves when not in use, enhancing safety during transport. Each kit includes a desiccant tray (desiccants sold separately) and is compatible with any vacuum system with a free air capacity of 1.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or greater. Available in six models, the desiccators offer internal volumes of 6, 10, and 20 liters in either clear or UV blocking amber options.
