These high-quality vacuum desiccators stay gastight, allowing reliable dry storage or experiments over extended periods. They can maintain a 29 in.-Hg vacuum for over 72 hours at room temperature, providing vacuum integrity that results in lower maintenance and greater peace of mind. The single-piece molded design (except the door) enhances vacuum capability with minimal leakage and exceptional durability. The cabinet style maximizes usable space and enables stacking. A Viton® 3-way valve ensures consistent and uniform vacuum draw, vacuum release, or gas exchange. An analog vacuum gauge located on the front door allows for easy vacuum level checking. Constructed from transparent polycarbonate, these desiccators are durable, easy to clean, chemical-resistant, and provide quick visualization of the contents. Amber-tinted UV blocking models effectively block 100% of UVA, B, and C light to reduce damage or discoloration of light-sensitive samples. The hinged door facilitates easy access, and built-in locking tabs secure the door when not under vacuum. Perforated shelves can be removed or repositioned to meet various storage needs, with additional shelves available for purchase. Built-in ports allow for the attachment of up to three additional valves, sold separately. Each unit includes a desiccant tray (desiccants sold separately) and is compatible with any vacuum that has a free air capacity of 1.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or greater. There are eight models to choose from, with internal volumes of 11, 23, 35, and 45 liters available in clear or UV blocking amber.
