Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel that allows the use of either Fritware® or perforated filter plates. The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7mm I.D. tubing and threads into a " NPT bung. The funnel can accommodate fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates, which are supported by a multiple ring grid and constructed from HDPE that is 6.4mm thick. These filter plates include a non-porous ring at the periphery to seal filter paper during use. Fritware® porous filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and a minimum of -20°C (-4°F). Additionally, fixed or removable perforated filter plates made of 4.8mm thick HDPE feature 4.8mm perforations on 11mm centers. These perforated filter plates are offered in two configurations: fixed for coarse filtration or use with cloth or paper filters, and removable for precious metals recovery, also with the same temperature range as the Fritware® plates. For improved efficiency during the filtration process, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel is available to smooth out fissures. Note: Truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
