Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic tabletop Buchner funnel, which allows you to choose between Fritware® or perforated filter plates. The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts a 12.7mm I.D. tube and threads into a 1" NPT bung on the funnel. It can accommodate fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, measuring 6.4mm thick, with a non-porous ring at the plate's periphery that seals filter paper. The Fritware® porous filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). Additionally, the fixed or removable perforated filter plates are constructed from 4.8mm thick HDPE and feature 4.8mm perforations on 11mm centers. These plates are available in fixed versions for coarse filtration or with a cloth or paper filter, as well as removable versions for precious metals recovery, also with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). To enhance the filtration process, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel can be employed to quickly and efficiently smooth fissures that appear during filtration.
