The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel is designed for rapid filtration of large volumes, featuring a choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plates. It includes a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7 mm I.D. tubing and threads into a 1" NPT bung on the funnel. The fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, 6.4 mm thick, with a non-porous ring at the periphery of the plate to seal filter paper when in use. Fritware® porous filter plates come in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates are composed of 4.8 mm thick HDPE with 4.8 mm perforations on 11 mm centers. The perforated filter plates are available in two configurations: fixed for coarse filtration or cloth/paper filters, and removable for precious metals recovery, both having the same temperature range specifications. Additionally, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel is included for efficiently smoothing fissures during the filtration process. Truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
