The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel enables the filtration of large volumes quickly and efficiently, featuring either Fritware® or perforated filter plates. The funnel includes a removable hose barbed connector that accepts a 12.7mm I.D. tube and threads into a standard " NPT bung. The Fritware® porous filter plates, available in medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns) porosities, are supported by a multiple ring grid made of 6.4mm thick HDPE, with a non-porous ring at the periphery that seals filter paper when in use; the temperature use range is maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates, designed for coarse filtration or to accommodate cloth or paper filters, are constructed from 4.8mm thick HDPE with 4.8mm perforations on 11mm centers; they also have the same temperature range specifications. For enhanced efficiency during the filtration process, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel can be used to quickly smooth any fissures. Please note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
