Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel that allows for the selection between FritWare® or perforated filter plates. The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accommodates a 12.7 mm I.D. tube and threads into a " NPT bung on the funnel. The fixed or removable FritWare® porous filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid and constructed of HDPE with a thickness of 6.4 mm, incorporating a non-porous ring at the periphery to seal the filter paper when in use. FritWare® porous filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates are made from 4.8 mm thick HDPE, featuring 4.8 mm perforations on 11 mm centers, and are designed for fixed coarse filtration or for use with cloth or paper filters, while the removable option is suitable for precious metals recovery, also within the temperature range of 52°C (125°F) to -20°C (-4°F). Additionally, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel can be utilized to efficiently smooth fissures that may appear during the filtration process. Truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
