The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel is designed to filter large volumes quickly, offering the flexibility of using either Fritware® or perforated filter plates. The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts a 12.7mm I.D. tube and threads into a 1" NPT bung. It includes fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, with a thickness of 6.4mm. The Fritware® plates come in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), both suitable for use within a temperature range of -20°C to 52°C (-4°F to 125°F). Alternatively, the funnel can utilize fixed or removable perforated filter plates made from 4.8mm thick HDPE, featuring 4.8mm perforations on 11mm centers. The fixed plates are designed for coarse filtration or compatibility with cloth or paper filters, while the removable plates are intended for precious metals recovery, also operable within the same temperature range. The included F36820-0118 funnel trowel facilitates the smoothing of fissures during filtration. Truck shipping is required for the 36" funnels.
