The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel is designed for filtering large volumes quickly, featuring your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plates. It includes a removable hose barbed connector that accommodates a 12.7mm I.D. tube and threads into a 2" NPT bung on the funnel. The fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, 6.4mm thick, and feature a non-porous ring at the periphery of the plate to seal filter paper during use. Fritware® porous filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates are made of 4.8mm thick HDPE, with 4.8mm perforations on 11mm centers. The perforated filter plates are available in fixed versions for coarse filtration or for use with cloth or paper filters, and removable versions for precious metals recovery, maintaining the same temperature range as the Fritware® plates. Additionally, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel is included to efficiently smooth fissures during the filtration process. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
