The Secador® line of desiccator cabinets features an attractive design and sturdy construction that ensure easy and reliable storage of moisture and UV sensitive products. The cabinets are available in a variety of sizes, styles, and colors to accommodate specific dry storage needs. They are constructed of Durastar® co-polyester, which blocks 99% of UV light and is resistant to staining, crazing, and chemical attack. The rear-mounted gas ports are tapered to accept tubing with a 0.2" I.D., while amber color models reduce visible light penetration by over 50%, making them ideal for storing light-sensitive materials such as reagents, analytical standards, and investigational compounds. The large doors maximize access to the interior space, equipped with a patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for padlocks or tamper-evident seals. Perforated shelves enhance dry air circulation, with space for desiccant located under the bottom shelf. An easy-to-view digital hygrometer is positioned in the door front, and the side-swinging door opens to the left. The compact dimensions of 34.1W x 41.4 cm ensure a space-saving design that can be stacked up to 3 units high. Replacement shelves are available, and the unit can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by turning the unit and ordering the appropriate shelves.
