Protecting valuable humidity-sensitive items, such as reagents or electronics, is easy and fully automatic with Secador® Auto-Desiccator Cabinets, which feature a patented electronic desiccant regeneration module that recharges the desiccant every 20 minutes. In contrast to other auto-desiccators that regenerate once every 4 to 6 hours, the Secador® Auto-Desiccator quickly attains a low %RH level on start-up and consistently maintains low %RH, even with frequent entry to the desiccator interior. The cabinets are constructed from Durastar® Co-Polyester, which blocks 99% of UV light and resists staining, crazing, and chemical attack, while amber color models reduce visible light penetration by over 50%, making them perfect for storing light-sensitive materials like reagents and analytical standards. The large pull-down oven-style door maximizes access to the interior space and is equipped with an easy-to-view digital hygrometer, patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for a padlock or tamper-evident seals, opening from right to left. Two removable perforated shelves facilitate circulation of dry air, with overall dimensions of 51.8W x 41.4D x 34.1CMH (20.4 x 16.3 x 13.4"). The cabinets are available in a selection of sizes, styles, and colors in 100, 120, or 230V (CE marked) models for use worldwide. The 230V units include a power cord/transformer with Q-NA, Q-SAA, Q-UK, and Q-EU input connectors to accommodate North American, Australian, UK, and European configurations. Replacement shelves can be ordered, and 4.0 units can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by turning the unit and acquiring the appropriate number of shelves. Use F42074-0020 replacement desiccant for the Secador® Auto Desiccator module.
