The ScienceWare® Secador® Refrigerator Ready Desiccator is designed for efficient dry storage within refrigerators and -20°C freezers, ensuring materials remain cold and moisture-free. It includes a specially designed top shelf that can accommodate up to three (3) DESI Cans™ (F42046-0000) or two (2) desiccant cartridges (F42048-0100), allowing for easy visibility of saturation status (desiccants sold separately). Constructed from clear, chemical-resistant polycarbonate with stainless steel hardware, this rugged desiccator features an extra-long body and pull-out shelves that maximize refrigerator shelf depth, making it suitable for use at room temperature in laboratory settings as well. The door opens top down for easy access, includes a locking latch operable with one hand, and features door security loops for tamper-evident tagging. Additionally, it has wide rubber feet that ensure stability on wire refrigerator racks and comes with one sliding storage shelf that can be fully removed if desired. The dimensions and specifications of the desiccator are suitable for various lab environments, and it is compliant with industry standards.
