The Extra-large Scienceware® desiccator cabinet offers a low humidity, dust-free environment for storing several large moisture-sensitive material containers or a greater number of smaller ones. It features clear sides for easy visualization of contents and is constructed with rugged copolyester side and top panels, along with a polycarbonate door and rear panel, ensuring durability. The cabinet includes two pull-out, perforated acrylic shelves that promote maximum air circulation and have built-in stops to prevent accidental tipping, with a maximum weight capacity of 10 lbs (4.5 kg) per shelf. The shelves are removable, allowing the cabinet to be configured as a single, spacious chamber for specific storage needs; it can accommodate up to seven shelves spaced 2" apart, with extra shelves available for purchase separately. For optimal performance, the F43000-0001 desiccant (sold separately) can be placed below the bottom shelf, with the recommended use of Scienceware® desiccant in a cartridge (F42045-0250). The door hinges are located on the right side.
