This starter kit contains 10 prefilled tubes, each with zirconium (ceramic) beads in diameters of 0.1mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 3.0mm. The tubes are ready to use, with beads that have been acid washed, heat treated, and certified to be nuclease and protease free. The filling process has been tested by qPCR to ensure that the tubes are free of stray DNA. This product is suitable for use in most bead homogenizers, including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6, and BeadBlaster 24.
