The prefilled 2ml tubes contain an appropriate amount of 2.8mm diameter stainless steel beads specifically designed for bead homogenization. These tubes are ready to use, as the beads are alcohol washed and heat treated to eliminate contaminants, ensuring they are nuclease and protease free. They are suitable for homogenizing tough, hard samples, muscle, plant materials, seeds, and dried samples. The product is supplied in packs of 50 tubes and is compatible with most bead homogenizers, including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6, and BeadBlaster 24.
