The prefilled 2ml tubes are designed for bead homogenization and contain 3.0mm diameter zirconium (ceramic) beads that are acid washed, heat treated, and certified to be nuclease and protease free. Each tube is filled through a process verified by qPCR to ensure it is free of stray DNA. These tubes are suitable for homogenizing various tissues, including heart, lung, brain, plant tissues, insects, and dried samples. They are supplied in packs of 50 tubes and are compatible with most bead homogenizers, including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6, and BeadBlaster 24.
