The BeadBug 3 is a high energy benchtop homogenizer designed for personal-sized cell disruption and lysis, capable of simultaneously homogenizing up to 3 samples, often within 45 seconds, using disposable 2ml screw cap microtubes. Its optimized mixing motion enables rapid cell disruption through constant high velocity impact from hardened micro-beads specifically selected for the sample type. Unlike traditional lab vortexers, the BeadBug 3 is suitable for tougher samples and serves as a convenient, economical alternative to high-capacity homogenizers. With the ability to process three tubes at once and a compact footprint of 7 x 8 inches, it is ideal for low to medium throughput laboratories. Please note that tubes and beads are sold separately.
