Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling up to 60HP or 80A. Each assembled motor starter includes a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring to check whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA and select the control power used to close the contactor. The overload should be chosen based on a current range that includes the FLA. Options for configuration include selecting between direct-online starters, separate control voltage, and models with remote start terminals. The starter features include a 9A 3-phase direct online start/stop capability, a coil voltage rating of 250-500V AC/DC, and an overload rating of 4.2-5.7A, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
