Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters rated up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate at the input voltage supplied, confirming if it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA. Additionally, select the control power used to close the contactor and the overload current range that contains the FLA. The available options include direct-on-line starters, separate control voltage starters, and starters with remote start terminals for activation from an external switch. This product line features a rating of 16A, supports 3-phase operation, includes remote start terminals, provides start/stop functionality, and operates on a 100-250V AC/DC coil with an overload relay rated for 13-16A, all housed within a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
