Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, confirming whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA of your motor, select the control power used to close the contactor, and choose the overload by selecting a current range that includes the motor's FLA. Optional criteria for selection include the type of incoming power: if the line power is also used as control power, it is referred to as a "direct-online starter"; if the control voltage differs from the line voltage, it is a "separate control voltage"; for activation from an external switch, terminals for control power input are added, termed "remote start terminals." The starter features include a 9A 3-phase configuration with separate control voltage and remote start terminals, a reset button, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, a 7.6-10A overload relay, and a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
