Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters designed for applications up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) on the motor or equipment nameplate at the input voltage, ensuring to confirm whether the motor operates on single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for current higher than the motor's FLA. Additionally, choose the control power for the contactor activation and select an overload relay that accommodates the motor's FLA. The options for the incoming power system include "direct-on-line starter," where line power is also used for control, or "separate control voltage" configurations. For external activation, the starter can be equipped with remote start terminals. This particular model features a current rating of 9A, operates on 3 phase power, includes remote start terminals, supports start/stop functionality, and is compatible with a 250-500V AC/DC coil. The overload relay is adjustable for a range of 5.7-7.6A. The product is constructed in compliance with NEMA 4X specifications.
