Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, confirming whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. The kit includes components with specifications such as 9A, 3 phase, separate coil voltage, and a reset button only, along with a 250-500V AC/DC coil. The overload relay is rated for 4.2-5.7A. Optional criteria for selection include whether the line power will be used as the control power (Direct-On-Line Starter), if the control voltage differs from the line voltage (Separate Control Voltage), or if the starter needs to be activated from an external switch (Remote Start Terminals). For configurations requiring both remote start terminals and differing line and control voltages, the option is available as "Separate Control Voltage + Remote Start Terminals."
