Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, first refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage; also confirm if the motor requires 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA. Then, select the control power for closing the contactor and choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA. Optional features include incoming power configurations such as "direct-online starter," "separate control voltage," or "remote start terminals" for external switch activation. Specific features of the starter include 9A 1-phase remote start terminals, a reset button, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, a 3.1-4.2A overload, and a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
