Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, first refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, confirming whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor, followed by selecting the control power used to close the contactor, and then the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. Criteria for selection include incoming power type, with options for direct-online starters or separate control voltage based on your setup. Features include a rating of 12A, 1 phase configuration, separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, start/stop functionality, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and an overload relay range of 3.1-4.2A, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
