Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage and confirm whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA of the motor. The control power for closing the contactor must also be identified, along with selecting an overload that accommodates the FLA. The starter options include direct-online starter configurations, separate control voltage setups, and configurations with remote start terminals for external switch activation. Key features of the product include a current rating of 12A for 1-phase applications, a separate control voltage with remote start terminals, and a start/stop function with a coil voltage of 24-60V AC/DC, alongside a 10-13A overload relay all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
