Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage supplied, ensuring the verification of single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor, and select the control power for closing the contactor. The overload should be chosen by selecting a current range that encompasses the FLA of the motor. Additionally, options include selecting incoming power configurations, such as direct-online starters, separate control voltage, or remote start terminals. The key features of this starter include a 16A 3-phase direct online start/stop, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and an overload rating of 5.7-7.6A, all within a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure.
