Additionally, the control power for closing the contactor must be chosen, along with selecting an overload relay that encompasses the motor's FLA. Optional criteria for selection include the type of incoming power, such as "direct-online starter" for same line and control voltage, "separate control voltage," or configurations with "remote start terminals" for external switch activation.
