Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage, ensuring the correct verification of single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA. For control power, you can select either a direct-online starter, where the line power is used as the control power, or a separate control voltage if different. For external activation, remote start terminals can be added, assuming the line and control voltages are the same. The features of the starter include a 26A three-phase direct online start/stop, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, and a 20-24A overload, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
