Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters comprise a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, refer to the motor nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage, ensuring to note if it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA, select the control power for the contactor, and select the overload by choosing a current range that includes the FLA. Optional criteria for selection include incoming power configuration, where a "Direct-On-Line starter" uses line power for control, while "Separate Control Voltage" indicates differing line and control voltages. For external activation, you may opt for "Remote Start Terminals," which assume the line and control voltages are the same. If using remote start terminals with different voltages, select "Separate Control Voltage + Remote Start Terminals." Key features include a 26A 3 Phase Separate Control Voltage, Remote Start Terminals, a reset button, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, and a 13-16A overload.
