Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A, which include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. The assembled motor starters are designed to meet specific requirements by verifying the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage, determining if the application utilizes single-phase or three-phase power, and selecting a starter rated for current higher than the FLA of the motor. The control power for closing the contactor and the overload with a range containing the FLA must also be selected. The options available include a direct-online starter if the line power is used as the control power, separate control voltage if the control voltage differs from the line voltage, and remote start terminals for activation from an external switch. This model features a 38A capacity, single-phase operation, a separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, a 100-250V AC/DC coil, a 20-24A overload relay, and adheres to NEMA 4X specifications.
