Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60 HP or 80 A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring whether it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA, and select the control power used to close the contactor. The overload should be chosen based on a current range that contains the FLA. The starters are equipped with features such as a rating of 52 A, single-phase operation, separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, a 24-60 V AC/DC coil, and an overload relay rated at 24-26 A. The NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure provides protection against environmental factors.
