Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters designed for motors up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters include a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring to check if it is single-phase or three-phase power. Choose a starter rated for current higher than the FLA, select the control power for closing the contactor, and pick an overload current range that encompasses the FLA. The starters offer options such as direct-online starters if the line power is used as control power, separate control voltage if the control voltage differs from the line voltage, and remote start terminals for external switch activation. Additionally, they feature a 52A rating, are designed for 1 phase with separate coil voltage, include a reset button, support a 100-250V AC/DC coil, offer a 44-53A overload, and are housed in NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosures.
