Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling up to 60HP or 80A. These assembled motor starters comprise a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter for your needs, first, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) based on the input voltage supplied, ensuring to note if it is single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for a current higher than the FLA of the motor. Next, select the control power required to close the contactor and choose an overload relay by selecting a current range that includes the motor's FLA. The kit includes features such as a 65A rating, compatibility with three-phase power, a separate coil voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button, a coil voltage range of 100-250V AC/DC, and an overload range from 36-47A, all housed in a robust NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
