Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling up to 60HP or 80A. These assembled motor starters include a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, it is essential to verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate, ensuring to note whether the motor operates on single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for a current higher than the FLA. Additionally, select the control power to close the contactor and choose the overload by selecting a current range that encompasses the FLA. Optional criteria for selection include incoming power configurations such as direct-online starters, separate control voltage options, and remote start terminals for activation from an external switch. The motor starters feature a current rating of 65A, are designed for three-phase applications, include remote start terminals, and support start/stop functionality, with a coil voltage range of 250-500V AC/DC and an overload rating of 57-67A.
