Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters capable of handling up to 60HP or 80A. The assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter for your requirements, it is essential to refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage being supplied, confirming if it is single-phase or three-phase power. The starter should be rated for a current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. Control power options include direct-online starting, separate control voltage, or remote start terminals, depending on whether the line power is used as control power or if an external switch will be employed. Key features of the starter include a 65A rating, operation for three-phase systems, remote start terminals, a reset button, and a coil voltage range of 250-500V AC/DC, along with a 50-60A overload relay, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
