Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements, refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the full load amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply, confirming whether it is 1-phase or 3-phase power to the motor, and choosing a starter rated for current (amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. The control power used to close the contactor must also be selected, along with the overload by choosing a current range that contains the FLA of the motor. The options include incoming power configurations such as "direct-online starter," "separate control voltage," and "remote start terminals," which can accommodate different voltage for line power and control power. Key features of the starter include 65A capacity, suitability for 1 phase, separate control voltage with remote start terminals, a reset button only, a 24-60V AC/DC coil, and a 36-47A overload relay, all housed in a NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
