Springer Controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters with a capacity of up to 60HP or 80A. Each assembled motor starter includes a contactor, an overload relay, and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the appropriate starter, verify the full load amperage (FLA) from the motor or equipment nameplate and determine if the system operates on 1-phase or 3-phase power. The starter should be rated for a current higher than the FLA of the motor. Users can choose from various control options, including direct-online starters using line power as control power, separate control voltage for different line and control voltages, or configurations with remote start terminals for activation from an external switch. The key attributes of the starter include an 80A rating, compatibility with 1-phase systems, and options for separate coil voltage with remote start terminals.
