3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3762 is a 100% solids, fast-setting hot melt adhesive specifically designed for packaging and shipping applications. This adhesive is well-suited for bonding various substrates, including corrugated fiberboard cartons, wood, particle board, chipboard, and foam. The product features aggressive hot tack, enabling rapid achievement of handling strength, and offers a short open time for efficient assembly line operations. It securely bonds challenging substrates, such as lightly waxed surfaces, while its low viscosity prevents stringing, even at high production speeds. The recommended application temperature range is 350-385°F (177-196°C). This adhesive is ideal for general packaging, securing wood supports and reinforcements, repacking chipboard, point-of-purchase displays, trade exhibits, and bonding waxed surfaces.
