3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Low Odor Acrylic Adhesive DP810 is a toughened two-part, room-temperature curing acrylic adhesive specially formulated to bond oily metals, plastics, and other surfaces. This adhesive features high shear and peel strength, along with good impact resistance, making it ideal for demanding end-use applications. It bonds various substrates, including metals, composites, and many plastics such as nylon, and cures to a tan or black color. The product has a 10-minute work life with a mix ratio of 1:1, allowing time for adjustments prior to setting, and reaches handling strength in approximately 20 minutes, becoming fully cured within 8-24 hours at 72°F/22°C. Excess adhesive exposed to air around the bond lines may remain tacky for up to 48 hours. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Low Odor Acrylic Adhesive DP810 is compliant with UL 746C, polymeric materials used in electrical equipment, makes minimal surface prep necessary for oily metal bonding, and is particularly suitable for applications in environments where harsh fumes or flammability are concerns, such as sporting goods and appliance manufacturing.
