The BenchMasher 400 laboratory paddle blender is equipped with an incubation and UV chamber decontamination system, providing fast and effective mixing for consistent homogenization. It is specifically designed for sample preparation where contamination elimination is critical, such as in pathogen and microbial detection in food and water filters. The device can handle samples up to 400 ml, which are conveniently loaded into sterile blender bags that seal upon closing the door. The mixing paddles rapidly strike the bags to ensure thorough mixing and homogenization without direct sample contact. User-friendly programming enables easy adjustments of mixing speed and cycle time via a large, full-color touch screen. The paddle position can be modified for efficient sample processing, and thermal regulation is available to heat the chamber up to 65°C for applications like Trichinella testing in meat. The removable door allows access to the chamber and stainless steel mixing paddles, each fitted with a rubber cover for convenience.
