The BeadBlaster™ 24 is a powerful homogenization system designed to thoroughly lyse, grind, and homogenize a diverse range of biological samples, achieving complete homogenization in as little as 35 seconds. This device can simultaneously process up to 24 samples using a stainless steel tube carrier that employs optimized, high-speed 3D motion to generate high-energy impacts between the samples and micro-beads, effectively releasing cellular contents. Digital displays allow for the easy setting and monitoring of operating parameters, while the option to program the unit for shortened consecutive cycles with rest periods protects delicate, heat-sensitive samples. The BeadBlaster 24 can store and recall up to 50 custom programs, enhancing its versatility. A transparent lid facilitates sample visualization, and a mechanical lock ensures safety during operation. The system is powered by a brushless motor, delivering quiet and maintenance-free performance. Included in the offering are various prefilled tube kits, such as the popular Triple-Pure™ kits containing acid-washed, heat-treated zirconium beads that are nuclease-free, making them particularly suitable for molecular biology applications. A starter kit (D1032-SK) is also available to support a wide array of sample types and optimize performance. The unit accommodates sealed 2.0ml tubes, effectively eliminates cross-contamination, and works with a comprehensive range of available beads in both prefilled tubes and bulk formats.
