The BeadBlaster™ 24R is a highly efficient bead homogenizer designed with built-in refrigeration to safeguard temperature-sensitive molecules from heat degradation and denaturation. It features true compressor-based refrigeration, eliminating the need for dry ice, liquid nitrogen, or air supply. Users can set the desired temperature and pre-cool the chamber, ensuring it is maintained throughout the homogenization process. This homogenizer accommodates up to 24 samples using a stainless steel tube carrier that subjects samples to optimized, high-speed 3D motion, generating high-energy impacts with micro-beads to release cellular content. Operating parameters are digitally set and displayed, with the capability to store and recall 50 profiles for future use. The device is equipped with a brushless motor for reduced noise and maintenance-free operation. Benchmark provides an assortment of prefilled tube kits suitable for various sample types, including the popular Triple-Pure™ kits which contain acid-washed, heat-treated, zirconium beads tested to be free of nucleases, making them ideal for molecular biology applications. Additionally, a convenient starter kit (D1032-SK) is available to accommodate a wide range of sample types and optimize applications.
