Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside for added durability. Welds are spaced 3" on center to provide maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for a rigid construction that enhances shelf strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers on 36" wide x 12", 15", 18" and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads. This shelving system is suitable for uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
