Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving comprises a robust shelving line engineered for strength and versatility suited for industrial applications. Each unit is crafted from cold rolled sheet steel and includes a sway brace design for rapid assembly and installation. The shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamping located on the top left corner. Class 1 shelves are constructed from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, utilizing roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges secured with resistance welding on the underside, spaced 3" on center to enhance strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, while all corners are lapped and resistance welded, providing a rigid structure. The top surface is punched to accommodate shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are additionally punched for accessory attachment, and a tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
