Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for industrial applications, boasting strength and versatility for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability for daily use over a lifetime without compromising its integrity. The open style free-standing shelving features sway braces and is designed for rapid assembly. Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge steel, featuring roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped edges and return bends, with resistance welds spaced 3" on center to enhance strength. The triple-flanged sides form a channel, and all corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface is designed with punched holes for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for specified sizes, while other sizes have punches on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment. The tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads, with the shelving capable of supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 800 pounds.
