Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is engineered for efficient assembly and installation, featuring both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to your specific shelving needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes 8 adjustable shelves. The design incorporates two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamping in the top left corner. Class 2 shelves are made from extra heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center for enhanced strength, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure a rigid corner and additional shelf strength. The top surface is punched to allow for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachments, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 1,200 pounds.
