Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving solution engineered for industrial applications, combining strength and versatility to meet the demands of modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring an open style free-standing design with sway braces for stability. The shelves are designed for easy assembly and installation, with formed ribs along the horizontal edges and identification stamping on the top left corner. Class 1 shelves include roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside, and spaced 3 inches on center for maximum durability. The triple flanged sides form a channel, and each corner is lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity. The top surface is pre-punched for shelf dividers at 1-1/2 inches on center for selected sizes and 3 inches for others, while the front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachments. The tubular front edge is designed for impact protection, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
