Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered to meet the demands of industrial applications while offering versatility for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability for lifelong daily use without loss of integrity. The Hi-Tech® open style free-standing shelving features sway braces and is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation. The shelves, classified as Class 1, are made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges. The shelves are further reinforced by resistance welded return bends on the underside, with welds spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to provide rigidity and added shelf strength. The top surface is punched for shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, and 3" centers for other sizes. Both the front and rear surfaces are punched to allow for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads. This shelving can support uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds, making it ideal for a variety of industrial storage needs.
