Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and feature roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside for added strength. Welds are spaced 3" on center, and the sides are triple flanged to create a channel, ensuring durability. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded for rigidity, while the top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
